Filing Your Taxes in 5 Easy Steps

5 Step Process (1).png

  1. Letting Us Know- A simple email, call, or text is the easiest way to make us aware of your intentions to have us prepare your tax filings.

  2. Upload Your Tax Docs- Uploading tax docs into your client portal will be the easiest and fastest way to get the ball rolling on your tax return. If using the portal is not an option for you, we have 3 locations where your tax docs can be dropped off. You can schedule a drop-off in Woods Cross or Salt Lake any day Mon-Fri. If you prefer to drop off your taxes in Ogden, please call 801-683-9232 to schedule your drop-off.

  3. Review Your Return- After your taxes have been prepared and reviewed we will send you a draft copy for you to look over. If you have any questions, you can schedule an appointment to review them in person, over the phone, or via a video conference.

  4. Sign Your Return & Pay- In order for us to e-file your taxes, we will need signatures by you and your spouse, (if applicable). An invoice will be emailed to you where you can pay with a credit card, ACH, or a check can be mailed to us at 1350 W 2600 S, Woods Cross UT 84087.

  5. E-file Your Return- Once your returns have been accepted by the IRS and State Agencies, we'll notify you of the acceptance with an e-file confirmation letter in your portal.

This year we anticipate that some of you will receive some additional documents from the IRS.

  • Advanced Child Tax Credit Payments - If you received any Advanced Child Tax Credit Payments, you should be receiving Letter 6419 that outlines the total amount of payments you received. Please include that with the other documents you upload to your portal.

  • 3rd Economic Impact Payment (Stimulus Check) - If you received the 3rd stimulus check/direct deposit, you will be receiving Letter 6475 that contains the total amount you received. Please include that as well with your other tax documents.

We look forward to getting started on your taxes. Click here to schedule an appointment, or call (801) 683-9232.

Please only schedule an in-person appointment if you are unable to use the Client Portal to upload your tax docs. We are limiting the number of face to face appointments this tax season to avoid the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus. If you have special circumstances, please call 801-683-9232.
